This is Darrick's idea of having an Elder's Quorum Presidency Mtg. Why not get together for the BYU/ Utah State game with our wives and kids and have hot wings! I'm not sure how much "meeting time" had to do with E.Q. itself, but they all had fun. They included Chris in their so called meeting. Chris and Darrick have been going to BYU games for over 12 years now. They get season tickets every year and for away games they meet at our house to watch the game and eat lots of great food! As you can see in the picture we have a Utah State fan in the house. Yes....we did allow him to come in and eat our food, but only because we knew we'd win! And we kind of like him. The evening was fun with lots of food, game time & conversation. I wish the game would have been more exciting, but it had it's moments. The BYU players did not show "quest for perfection" in this game, though the 1st qtr. was fun to watch. Nate and Emma (Mark and Katie's daughter) asked if they could pull out the hide-a-bed and have a sleep over. Okay, so they are 6 years old and don't know any better but it made us all laugh. Can you guess what team they're cheering for?

How come your friend isn't wearing socks with his sandles? Isn't that what you do in Utah?! Haha. Glad you guys enjoyed the game and quality EQ meeting time!:-)
Boy this is a toss up... fly fishing or a BYU game for an EQ meeting! :) Have to say I'm envious! Wish we were there! Here's hoping we can make it down in Nov for THE game! Hey, did my flies ever arrive? Hope they made it in one piece!
