Travis and Betsy cooked breakfast for everyone on Mon. Morning. Yummy! They cooked up french toast, bacon & sausage. We found a pavillion empty at a church just down the street from our house. The morning was cloudy and cool following a night of thunder, lightening and lots of rain. The morning seemed beautiful and we thought we had time before the next storm blew thru. Do you see the dark clouds in the picture just behind Travis? Time is what we didn't have much of. It poured, but luckily we were all safe under the pavillion. The wind blew and most of us lost our plates of food to the wind. It has created a great memory and despite all the craziness........we all laughed about the situation we had gotten into. We packed up in a hurry, took time to take some photos of the event, & ran to our vehicles before the lightening could strike us. The rain didn't last long afterwards............the day became sunny and beautiful. Oh well....thanks Travis for cooking breakfast for us all anyways. Next time we'll have to plan on enjoying it too! :-)
